The Writing Support Centre in your class
Online, blended, or in-person, the Writing Support Centre has resources for your students and your course.
Our writing advisors help students critically engage with ideas and communicate research through writing. WSC advisors support your students regardless of their skill level or facility in English, at any stage of the writing process, in any genre, across the disciplines, no matter what the writing assignment. Students who use our services learn to understand the expectations of university-level writing and are equipped to effectively communicate scholarly ideas through writing.
How can we collaborate?
One-to-One Consultations for Faculty
Western faculty are able to make appointments for 50-minute one-to-one Zoom sessions with a senior writing advisor. We will review any kind of academic writing such as research grant proposals, professional development plans, teaching dossiers, and manuscripts. We also review professional writing such as CVs, letters of intent, cover letters, and applications.
