Language in Culture Series (LinCS)
Our LinCS program supports incoming international students in becoming university-level writers prior to beginning Western University. Our staff, faculty, and student volunteers will support you in achieving academic success within the program and beyond.
LinCS is entirely free. Classes are taught by experienced staff and faculty.
The LinCS program will run from July 16, 2024 to July 17, 2024 and will be delivered completely online. Use your Western (@uwo.ca) email address to register.
At the end of this program, you will...
- Have learned how to read and write in a university setting
- Understand what professors expect from your writing
- Have strengthened your critical thinking skills
- Know how to produce scholarly papers
